Adjusting your screen
Do you find that you are having to scroll a lot whilst browsing web sites? You may find that the following tips help:
TIP 1 - The F11 button
Many browsers support the F11 button. Try pressing it whilst looking at a site - you will see that an number of button bars are tempoarily removed so that you can see more of the site. Want your normal screen back? Then press F11 again!
TIP 2 - AdjuSTING YOUR RESOLUTION
- Close all your applications so that you can see your desktop.
- Click with your right mouse button on the desktop (or use the other button if your mouse is set for left-handed use) and choos Properties.
- A small window appears with a number of tabs at the top. Choose the Settings tab.
- At the base of this screen you will see a slider control marked Screen Resolution. You can experiment with this, choosing values and then cliking on OK - but please follow subsequent instructions carefully; you do this at your own risk!
