Very large anemone-form flowers, dark pink with white patches. This Camellia is frequently available, but often has yellow spotted leaves, caused by a virus. There are many sports, the best known is Elegans Champagne, which is completely white. Inferior forms do exist and are still offered for sale at gardencentres etc.
